Our Vision: Creating Opportunities, Empowering Lives
“I have been studying English at the IHM Center for Literacy for about a year and a half. Reading, speaking and understanding English will help me to be independent. I will be able to do all things that I need to do for myself, by myself. I will understand the directions of my supervisors at work, and I will be able to go shopping without help. I like coming to the Center because I like the way the teachers teach the students. My experiences as an immigrant in the United States allows me to see the American people are good people. My contribution to America is that I am a good man and a hard-worker. I am happy to have the opportunity to raise my family in the United States.” — Ophrane Poustin
